Just the other day, we were commenting on how it’s hard for an act like Yolanda Be Cool to top their #1 smash single in 16 countries, “We No Speak Americano”. Not coincidentally, Yolanda Be Cool have held a press conference to issue an “international product recall” for the track, as “the beats are no longer fresh”.

“After careful analysis, we have determined that our #1 hit song, has been grossly overplayed, and in some extreme cases, misused,” Yolanda Be Cool said at the press conference, before showing YouTube clips of half-naked men – and cats – dancing to the track. “This is not what Yolanda Be Cool stands for… It was never meant to be like this.”

The band has also demanded that all DJ’s immediately stop playing the song, “The recall is being rolled out across the globe in stages. We are in the process of all DJ’s, club owners, and dance instructors who will be effected. If you are in possession of an electronic or analog copy of the song, please destroy it immediately,” said the group’s legal council.

While this was not received well, the group promised fans can instead go to YolandaRecall.Com to get a free song from their upcoming November album release, Ladies and Mentalmen.
