Tom Staar has been killing things this year, whether on his remix of Swedish House Mafia’s “Don’t You Worry Child”, or by transforming lesser known track “African Drop” into a massive 303 banger (as heard on my new Open House mix, out today). Staar will release his new single, “Cheyenne” on Kindergarten Records. A massive build takes this one into chopped up vocal. Death of autotune, rebirth of talkbox. Look for this Oct. 22nd.

With another new release planned for later this year for Laidback Luke’s Mixmash imprint, Tom Staar has definitely got a busy fourth quarter ahead of him.
