Little know fact, we go way back with our local heroes, The Killers. We brought them out for there last Vegas show at a little party called “Burning Down The House”, just before their life-changing European tour that would lead into the release of their debut, Hot Fuss. But we go even further back than that, as Mark Stoermer and this DJ shared our teenage years together at Chaparral High School. Mark even wrote for a ‘zine published by myself and Robert Dylan Todd, called “Hey, Hipster”. And also, we’re old.

So no, we aren’t going to betray Mark’s confidence by posting his bad poetry from 1995 on the site, but we will treat you to a preview of Pierce Fulton’s new remix of “Runaways”, the lead single from their new LP, Battle Born.
