Dim Mak Records has today announced the signing of international No. 1 artists Yolanda Be Cool (aka Sylvester Martinez and Johnson “Durango Slim” Peterson) to their label; currently home to some of the hottest names in electronic music; including label boss Steve Aoki, Etienne De Crecy, Bloody Beetroots, Felix Da Cartal and Angger Dimas.
“Please welcome the AMAZING Yolanda Be Cool to the Dim Mak family!” said Steve Aoki.
To celebrate the partnership, the team filmed a video with renowned director Franck Gazzola, featuring a painting class, a lot of cake and most importantly the first clip of the brand new single, Sweat Naked, which will come out on Dim Mak in the Spring, in preparation for their forthcoming debut album Ladies & Mentalmen.
“We are really excited to have our debut album ‘Ladies and Mentalmen’ coming out on one of our favourite labels. Last time we played a Dim Mak party in LA it was definitely mental. Can’t wait for round two… see all you Ladies and Mentalmen in Miami!” said Yolanda Be Cool.
More information on single “Sweat Naked” coming soon. Yolanda Be Cool will play Ultra Festival in Miami on March 17th.
