In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Avicii revealed big plans for his as-of-yet untitled debut album. He confirms that he has been in the studio with Nile Rodgers – whom also is attached to Daft Punk’s upcoming album – as well as Mike Einzinger (Incubus), Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park), and former Elvis songwriter, Mac Davis. He also hints that he is interested in working with Chris Martin of Coldplay.
“I have access to those people now, so it’s going to be a lot of acoustic elements, but kind of twisted a little bit. It’s way more songs than I’ve done before and it’s everything from folk records to more soulful,” he said.
