Michael Woods ties up his year with his EP ‘Ctrl +Alt + Delete’. Woods, the DJ, producer, and Diffused label founder releases his EP on the 16th of December on Diffused. If the previous success gardened by his previous releases is anything to go by, ‘Ctrl + Alt + Delete’ looks to finish off the year at a equally great pace. His most recent release ‘The Pit’ earned significant buzz within the industry, and was officially remixed by Los Angeles based trap artists gLAdiator, as well as musically advantageous, The Zombie Kids.

Opening track ‘Ctrl’ is Woods at his finest, a snappy, hand clapped, drum sound that leads the track before a wash of synths and electronic layers infuse before the 90 second mark hits with a huge Michael Woods drop. From this point onwards ‘Ctrl’ is transformed into a dance-floor classic in the making. ‘Alt’ sees this sound continue and, once released, this is the track sure to get bodies moving up and down the country. The final offering ‘Delete’ sees Woods perfect his sound, a real highlight of the EP and hints at a change in direction in sound and production for Michael Woods.

Currently in the midst of a gruelling world tour, including shows in Australia and across the US, Michael Woods is not resting on his laurels. The ‘Ctrl + Alt + Delete’ EP see’s Michael finish off the year, and with a developing sound and releases in the pipeline leading into 2014, Michael Woods is certainly keeping his fans and critics alike captivated.
